"Echo" World Tour
NorthCoast Academy is pleased to announce the Echo World Tour!
This spring, NCA will be performing outside of the US for the first time ever to entertain audiences in several different countries with their 2009 production, Echo. The organization is very excited to be able to give it's members the opportunity to perform overseas, many who will be traveling abroad for the first time. This incredible opportunity would not be possible without the support of Dynasty USA and Muremo Music.
Echo features music based on Frank Sullivan's piece Echoes Reflected; Martin Hotte and Nick Pourcho's musical arrangements will come to life through Echo with Scott Allen's brilliant visual imagery. The show carries the trademarks that NCA and the veteran design team has come to be known by, lots of notes, fast drill, and a few new surprises.
NCA would also like to welcome new instructors Jordon Novak, and Paul Loos to the staff this season, both former marching members of the organization.
Fans can enjoy watching the season progress with the second season of the NCA Video Podcast Series, a video documentary featuring member interviews, performance & rehearsal footage, and a look at what it's like to be a member of one of the top world-class percussion ensembles. The NCA Video Podcast Series is available on NCA's website, and as a free iPod-compatible download in the Apple iTunes Store.
