This is Doug's 6th year with NorthCoast Academy. Doug began his NCA experience in 2005 playing auxiliary percussion. In 2006 he played Bass 3 and then returned for the next 3 seasons to ageout in 2009 on Bass 2.
In 2006 Doug was a member of The Magic Drum and Bugle Corp. He played bass 3. Doug has worked with groups such as Eastside Fury Percussion, Walled Lake Percussion, and Walled Lake Central High School. This is Doug's first season teaching at NorthCoast Academy.

NorthCoast Academy is a nationally competitive percussion ensemble and part of the Saginaires Youth Organization. NCA is dedicated to providing the best possible educational and performing experience through excellent staff, unique show designs and life-long friendships. For members of NCA, winning acquires a new meaning—that achievement is not just of the competitive mark, but also what they take from an experience—and are able to apply knowledge beyond music.
